Description
The North Texas Mycological Association is very grateful for all of the support we have received throughout 2022 and for that reason we are having an appreciation event to give thanks to our members who made this year such a wonderful success. This is a FREE EVENT for MEMBERS ONLY! You must have valid membership status AND have a ticket reserved to gain entry. We have rented a beautiful private residence in North Dallas and are limited to 80 MEMBERS ONLY for that reason. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 18th, from 4:30-9pm.
This is a potluck style cook-off with one of NTMA’s sponsor’s Texas Fungus donating 20 pounds of gourmet mushrooms for us to prepare for you to taste! In addition to the mushrooms, we will be providing a small amount of snacks and drinks and we encourage our members to bring their favorite dishes or drinks to share with others as we end this year with a celebration! We will not be providing alcoholic beverages for liability reasons but it is BYOB so bring your own alcohol if you have it!
We are preparing a slideshow presentation that will be showcasing all of the cool stuff we have done throughout the year, so if you have some images to share please send them to us via contact@northtexasmycology.org. Each year we will be having a general membership meeting where we will be discussing various details regarding the organization for the following year, and we want to make these meetings fun by offering food, drinks and a chance to meet and greet other members. Once you reserve a ticket you will receive an e-mail with more details including the address of the location. We hope to see you there!
