Description
The North Texas Mycological Association is proud to offer their first course ever on poisonous mushrooms taught by renowned mycologist Dr. Denis Benjamin! Dr. Benjamin has previously served as a consultant to the regional poison center, past Chairman of the Toxicology Committee for the North American Mycological Association, and has written over 100 publications including the very popular “Mushrooms: Poisons and Panaceas”. Denis will be discussing various toxins which are found in mushrooms that adversely affect human health.

The classroom will be on the second floor up the stairs.
The address is a governmental building. You can park either in the parking garage or directly behind the building. This building is locked down and you will need to make entrance through the back by motioning to the security guard. We will be in the Oak Room on the second floor, follow our “Mycology” signs!
Please be sure to arrive earlier than 10! We understand things happen, but please do your best to be there in time before the class starts. Thanks!
