With over 50 attendees, our foray at White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX was a blast! We found quite a few species even with the colder/drier weather. Some of the highlights were Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor), Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus), King Alfred’s Cakes (Daldinia concentrica), and some very prolific Xylaria sp.! Very cool did not know so many interesting species were in our area. I hope to join the next foray when the event is set up!
