Throughout the year when weather is permitting the North Texas Mycological Association will host numerous events that include but are not limited to:
- Gatherings
- Workshops
- Forays
- Educational Walks
- Culinary Classes
- Cultivation Classes (Beginner)
- Mushroom Identification Classes (Beginner to Advanced)
- Microscopy Basics
- Youth Programs (Beginner to Advanced)
- Common Mycotoxins Classes
- Mushroom Art
- Research Projects
- Cloning Fungi Classes (Beginner)
As the Association continues to grow through sponsors, donations, and membership fees we are planning to offer additional events that may include:
- Mycoremediation Classes
- Advanced Microscopy Classes
- Fungus Festivals
- Cultivation Classes (Advanced)
- Professional Lecturers on Variety of Topics
- PCR / DNA Sequencing of Species including Classes
We will update the Calendar located in our Home Page with upcoming events on a frequent basis. When weather is permitting we would like to do two forays a month. If we are unable to meet in person for any reason we will likely hold classes online via web conference.
