Frontiers in Mycology: Chanterelles in Texas

Description: He will be diving into the known species of Cantharellus that exist here and how to identify them, where to find them, possible mycorrhizal relationships, some common look alikes and also discussing possible new species of Cantharellus that have yet to be described my science.

Speakers Bio: Patrick Harris has been a Hobbyist and Amateur mycologist foraging mushrooms in the Texas area since 2005.

Directions for Live Class Participation: The address is a governmental building. You can park either in the parking garage or directly behind the building. This building is locked down and you will need to make entrance through the back by motioning to the security guard. We will be in the Oak Room on the second floor, follow our “Mycology” signs!

Please be sure to arrive earlier than 10!

We had several members arrive later than the class had already started. and the security guard was frustrated and asked for members to arrive on time. We understand things happen, but please do your best to be there in time before the class starts. Thanks!
